Cost AUD 125 per day to attend the conference. All-inclusive packages are available. Virtual attendance is available. “A learning environment needs to be relaxed, safe, quiet, distraction free and engaging to maximise learning and reflection” The location is the Puri Santrian Beach resort situated upon Sanur beach with all water and wind sports catered for! The conference room is situated between three swimming pools and a classic Balinese relaxation centre and gym. This is an experience where science and personal well being meet. The focuses of the conference are to support your learning and reflection, appreciation of local healthcare experiences and engaging with local specialists whilst offering you time to experience the relaxing and recharging atmosphere of a tropical island 5 star resort. The conference will have a major theme of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, but there is plenty of sessions devoted to personal development and reflection that would suit all interested healthcare workers. CPD points The conference will be endorsed for a total of 10 personal reflection points and 19.5 educational activity points. The Indonesian conference of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists is a three day event and if you attend you will be able to directly claim for the 24 hours of attendance to the college for a further 24 educational points. On Day 9, 8 hours are devoted to Outcome Measurements with audit, clinical case, research, incident analysis presentations by rotating individual attendees in small group sessions. This is a self initiated activity and will be formalised directly with yourself. You can apply for the outcome measurement points directly with the college. Therefore, attending the two conferences and completing your personal development plan should complete your annual requirement for CPD points with RANZCOG as a fellow. Virtual Journal Club The virtual journal club is a college endorsed free virtual activity that accumulated 18 EA and 6 PR points per 12 month cycle. The conference will be discussing the past 12 months of this club and the collated reflections (anonymised) of the participants. This provides a great opportunity to reflect upon the wide variety of take-home messages from colleagues.
